Site of the Home of William Clark, Jr.
Born in Redford County, Virginia. Came to Texas in 1829 and to Nacogdoches in 1840. Signer of the Texas Declaration of Independence, member of the Second Congress, Republic of Texas, 1837-38. On this site in 1840 he erected a home.
